Yuvraj Singh Calls Yuzvendra Chahal 'Bhangi' For Dancing In TikTok Videos; Netizens Are ENRAGED, Ask Him To Apologise
OOPS! Netizens are divided over Yuvraj Singh addressing Yuzvendra Chahal as 'Bhangi' over his TikTok videos while some ask him to apologise, others support him
Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh seems to have become controversy's favourite child these days. Not very long ago, he was at the receiving end of criticism and hatred for donating to Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi's NGO. Singh was labelled as an anti-nationalist and whatnot. And while that mess recently cooled down, here's a fresh one that we have come across. A video of Yuvi mocking cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal for making TikTok videos with his family has gone viral on the internet and the netizens aren't very pleased with the term that he has used for the latter one.
The clip, which is a snippet from Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma's Instagram live session, sees Yuvraj calling Chahal a 'bhangi' for making such videos. Rohit, on the other hand, pulls his leg for making his father dance. "Yeh bhangi log ko kaam nahi hai yeh Yuzi aur isko (Kuldeep)," says Yuvraj. To which, Rohit adds, "Yuzi ko dekha kya video daala hai apni family ke saath. Maine usko wahi bola ki apne baap ko nacha raha hai, pagal toh nahi hai tu." The duo then starts laughing. While it seems to be a friendly banter to us, the netizens are extremely enraged with Yuvi and want him to apologise to Yuzvendra.
A user wrote, "We Respect you @YUVSTRONG12 and everyday as a good human as a great cricketer but what you have said is really not acceptable. It's time for you to walk outside and apologize for this mistake. #युवराजसिंहमाफी_मांगो," while some supported the cricketer by tweeting, "They are friends & a family. In family if someone doesn't take bath for long ,we day or mom says 'Bhangi naha le'. Why such fuss."

#युवराज_सिंह_माफी_मांगो My take on this. I've loved @YUVSTRONG12 ever since I was a kid and will continue to do so but I am not afraid to tell people I love they are wrong when they are. pic.twitter.com/BwK9hu6AF1

In other news, Yuvraj Singh had recently expressed his anger over Shahid Afridi's controversial statements on India. His tweet over the same had read, "Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again."
